This publication collects thoughts from professors and practitioners at UCL in forming our built environment and infrastructure, evaluating how engineers continue teaching in a relevant way. Final-year of Integrated Design Project is providing a unique opportunity for students to learn through design-focused team projects based on real-world problems. It presents the holistic approach required to tackle complex construction challenges drawing on the broad array of civil engineering disciplines.
